Malaga Airport
Operations Recovery
Once Colombian DGAC determinate to close the Malaga Airport operations due to safety issues, our team have been working closely with the local government and other instances to recover this operation, we know how important is this facility to the region even more when the regional connectivity at the zone is so complicated. 2025 was the year when our team reach the opportunity to get DGAC, Santander Governor and the city Major to make the investment on safety & security, develop the procedures and now the task is running on to have a new runway, improvement of the perimetral security protection, better safety areas, residual water management and other, fully proud of this effort and reached goal.
Ecuador
Department of Defense Safety Special Training
For our team to visit a so special country is awesome, Ecuador and it people is so friendly and helpful, due to that, share a whole week with them was really fascinating. At this time Quito receive us with a great weather and the best company, the Department of Defense of the Ecuador.
Composed by more than 20 friends from Air Force, Army and Navy our classroom had the opportunity of share content on safety strategies, risk management, threat and error management, accident investigations, normative, CRM and much more. Recognize the need of change and the inner issues, is the first step to grow, so, thanks, because we grow together once again learning of our experiences.

System Assessment
To work hand by hand with a, so great company like Avianca cargo one of the biggest at continent, was (no doubt), the best experience on airline task for the 2025. Together we run the Avianca cargo system assessment on five special areas: efficiency, safety, human factor, emotional & mental health and organizational communication.
Offering our quick wins like: Threat and error management training course, risk management training for analysts and exercises on data base analysis, Safety Review Board, and finally Safety Action Group, we learn together how to improve the balance between production a protection, special thanks to Diogo Elias CEO and, of course, to Leonel Ortiz, Cargo Operations Vice president
Puerto Estrella Airport
Factibility Analisys
The Guajira, what a wonderful place, located at the north of Colombia, The Guajira is a place full of experiences, the Guayú tribes receive us with a friendly relation, their authorities and the Colombian authorities too, participate in this effort to recover a so necessary aerodrome in Puerto Estrella, our team visited the areas, talk with the locals and realize the relevant and necessary priority of to recover this operation. In this case the airport activity is more a humanitarian activity than others. This facility is not an infrastructure, it is a tool for life saving.
C&T F group and team, is and will be commit with this goal, together We will get it on, finally We are absolutely proud on to produce the: operations, safety, infrastructure, technical and technological aids viability studies for this project.
Muzo Airport
Factibilty Analisys
First approach to the Muzo airport improvement. Muzo the emerald capital in the world is looking for a new airport to receive visitors, as a part of the municipality improvement goals that include to develop a international park where the people can visit the mines, spend time with their families and take a vacation discovering the land wonders and of course the emeralds processes, this airport will be the angular stone and the plan strategy support. The C&T F team visited the area and still working on to prepare the first viability studies that support the future infrastructure investment from the Colombian Government.
Threats & Errors
Model and Management Training
The human error is one of the first cause on undesired situations, to understand the human behavior, the human error consequences but the most, the error control strategies, is and will be one of the structural processes at the organizations that work on complex environments like aviation. This case C&T F went to Miami to share this content. Was a so great experience to share the time with the Avianca cargo team, also in Bogotá have the opportunity of share the TEM model with all the stations managers across the continent, for sure this tool will help on to improve the human management and the error control at sensitive operations.
